"...if anyone makes the assistance of grace depend on the humility or obedience of man and does not agree that it is a gift of grace itself that we are obedient and humble, he contradicts the Apostle who says, "What have you that you did not receive?" (1 Cor. 4:7), and, "But by the grace of God I am what I am" (1 Cor. 15:10). (Council of Orange: Canon 6)

E-Sword Files

The .top files of my scripture lists on the Doctrines of Grace and the People of God (for use on e-Sword) are now available here. There are also files for similar lists on the Trinity, Knowing Our God, and Knowing Ourselves. If anyone would benefit from them, please feel free to download and use them!

That is good stuff Nathan, I am eagerly downloading them as I type!

Forgive me if this is easy, or posted elsewhere, but how do you run them with e-sword once they are downloaded?

Thank you for your help and work on these.

Patrick,

Inside your e-sword folder you should have a STEP folder. If you save the file in the STEP folder, then when you start up e-Sword you can go to your topic notes, and the file should be listed with all the other books there.

Nathan, thank you for sharing these Scripture lists. They're very helpful. FYI, the link on your posting name has both this and your blog combined.

Des,

Thanks for the tip. :)

Nathan thank you, I got it now.

Again, many thanks for this.

I would like to ask permission to include some of Nathan's e-sword topic notes files for download at my personal website:

http://www.pastorthroop.com/

I would include it on the Downloads page, where I have many other Reformed e-sword resources already available. I would, of course, properly identify Nathan Pitchford as the author.

Thanks for the resources and the informative website!

please can you tell me how i view .top files in e-sword - thanks - timothy goswell
