"...if anyone makes the assistance of grace depend on the humility or obedience of man and does not agree that it is a gift of grace itself that we are obedient and humble, he contradicts the Apostle who says, "What have you that you did not receive?" (1 Cor. 4:7), and, "But by the grace of God I am what I am" (1 Cor. 15:10). (Council of Orange: Canon 6)

We are a community of confessing believers who love the gospel of Jesus Christ, affirm the Biblical and Christ-exalting truths of the Reformation such as the five solas, the doctrines of grace, monergistic regeneration, and the redemptive historical approach to interpreting the Scriptures.

Two Lectures on Monergistic Regeneration (MP3s)

Last week we held our Reformation Society of Oregon meeting and Dr. Art Azurdia III gave two expositions/lectures on the subject monergistic regeneration. We have posted the MP3s for free download. IMHO, they are superb biblical exegesis and I highly recommend them for your personal edification.

    These messages are great!

Very good. This is the first time I've heard Art Azurdia teach and I found him to be an excellent communicator that new believers and advanced believers alike will be challenged by.

Excellent lesson. I am a novice Greek student and especially liked the lesson about the present tense preceding the perfect chronologically. That helps so much understanding the text. Praise God! Excellent references about the new birth, which is passive, done to us rather than us doing. I loved this lesson! Thanks for posting it.

God led me to Spirit-Empowered Preaching and Bro. Azurdia a few months ago. I have down-loaded, listened to and shared more than 150 excellent sermons on Hebrews, John, Revelation, and many more.
I seem to be in "constant revival" with my mp3 player full of sermons instead of music.

Art is one of my favorite preachers! Listening to him is like listening to a grand narrative, yet he exegetes... now if only I can learn to do the same thing. :S
