"...if anyone makes the assistance of grace depend on the humility or obedience of man and does not agree that it is a gift of grace itself that we are obedient and humble, he contradicts the Apostle who says, "What have you that you did not receive?" (1 Cor. 4:7), and, "But by the grace of God I am what I am" (1 Cor. 15:10). (Council of Orange: Canon 6)

Obedience (7)

Obedience Is Beautiful

True Christian obedience is haunting, jolting the minds of our opponents. It is compelling, winning worshipers to our God. We convey godliness through our good works, pleasing the One who calls us to holiness. The Word of God is more desirable than gold, and sweeter than honey. This Word produces obedience in the lives of God's people by their faith. Surely that fruit is beautiful.

Eric,

I thoroughly enjoyed all of the posts on Obedience and thought you were right on with each of them.

I would like to pass them along in a format which shows all of the posts at once (on one page) with the embedded links behind the words. Is there a way to do this? Perhaps you could do a summary post reposting all of them at one time.

I think it is good enough that many Christians would like to have a tract or booklet form of it to carry in their bibles. In paper form you could replace your links with small numbers with the corresponding verses at the end of the booklet.

It could be offered as a stand alone product at Monergism books or as a promotional item to be given out with other orders.

Just some ideas,

In Him,

Alan
