Should we say...?
Should we say, "perhaps you should try Jesus as you savior" ...almost with a consumer market oriented mentality? "There are lots of religious options and if you try this particular religious option you might like it." ... No... rather, Jesus is Lord and he will soon be invading with His armies. He is offering pardon in advance of His invasion and should you receive the pardon and ally yourself with Him now before He invades, when He comes you will be considered His ally and He will raise you to Kingship. The alternative is to be under the wrath of the King. It is not some kind of religious option. It an announcement that a new King is on the throne and He'll be invading. The gospel is not an invitation to an array of a buffet style choices, it is a command. Will you heed the command? Jesus is Lord, repent and believe. - William Wilder

So very true. Jesus is NOT an accessory to add to an already good life, but He IS Life itself! (John 14:6) Let many come to a fuller grasp of this essential truth of the Truth!

We want people responding like this wouldn't we? It has more powerful an effect affecting all, the speakers and hearers?:
Dan 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, "O
Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
Dan 3:17 If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the
burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.
It seems to me, not until we confront these enemy forces on the Lord's terms and not on the humanistic terms, or the watered down easy confrontational approach that seems to be politically correct these days, the world is going to continue without any opposition from the Holy Christian Church.
Paul wrote this and in my last judgment on it, ah, just today, these words still carry their full force and authority when rightly applied by me, one of His Elect:
Eph 3:8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
Eph 3:9 and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things,
Eph 3:10 so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.
Eph 3:11 This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord,
Eph 3:12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him.

Those are His sheep will respond with a regenerated heart. It reminds me of the city of Nineveh. Jonah did not sugar-coated the message and it was certainly God's grace that made the people in Nineveh saw their sin and repent. The gospel is penetrating words that cut through the heart to give life so the lost will find Him and rest in Him. His sheep will desire to follow Him.
However, there are many who choose to 'believe' to avoid hell, looking for benefits for themselves.
Am I His sheep? or wolf dressed like sheep?
