"...if anyone makes the assistance of grace depend on the humility or obedience of man and does not agree that it is a gift of grace itself that we are obedient and humble, he contradicts the Apostle who says, "What have you that you did not receive?" (1 Cor. 4:7), and, "But by the grace of God I am what I am" (1 Cor. 15:10). (Council of Orange: Canon 6)

This is my story, this is my song....

From Passion 2007, held in Atlanta, Georgia. This is Chris Tomlin (and others) leading Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)... Each word is so poignant- so true. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God, the Lord of all glory, Jesus the Messiah!

I didnt think you would post this, this isnt reformed, what do you think about it?

not reformed???.. what do I think? I think you are nuts sir.. why do you suggest this? Amazing Grace was written by John Newton who was thoroughly reformed. What is it about "Twas grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved... tis grace hath brought me safe thus far and grace will lead me home" that you do not understand?

you think im nuts? why? Im aware who the song was written by. I was suprised that you posted it because i thought this style of worship wasnt reformed. So it made me think, and i wasnt sure so i thought id ask.

Reformed means we cannot use guitars?

Praise Him on the stringed instruments. (Ps. 150)

"Reformed and always being reformed according to the word of God"
