"...if anyone makes the assistance of grace depend on the humility or obedience of man and does not agree that it is a gift of grace itself that we are obedient and humble, he contradicts the Apostle who says, "What have you that you did not receive?" (1 Cor. 4:7), and, "But by the grace of God I am what I am" (1 Cor. 15:10). (Council of Orange: Canon 6)

We are a community of confessing believers who love the gospel of Jesus Christ, affirm the Biblical and Christ-exalting truths of the Reformation such as the five solas, the doctrines of grace, monergistic regeneration, and the redemptive historical approach to interpreting the Scriptures.

    Acts 13:48 and Evangelism

From Great Falls in Montana, Dr. James White teaches on God's Sovereignty and the ministry of apologetics and evangelism (approx. 53 minutes).

"And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed." - Acts 13:48

Maybe because I am a bit tired mentally tonight, but listening to this presentation, I have to say that it was probably the clearest message on presenting the Gospel no holds barred as I have ever been edified by?

The Gospel clearly is God centered and He saves by the proclamation of it without any additional words of ours.

It causes me to ponder and wonder about my own foolish errors in trying to win one over with something more than the Gospel of the Kingdom and, even moreso, in pondering I tremble somewhat as I consider these Words of John:::>

Rev 22:17 The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.
Rev 22:18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book,

I am unable to watch this presentation due to a slow internet.
would love to get it in a readable copy if possible.

    Regards,
    Anne
