A Letter from Dr. Sproul

I sent a copy of my book to Dr. R. C. Sproul, thanking him for his ministry and alerting him to the fact that he had been greatly used of God in helping me come to understand God's Sovereignty in salvation. I told him that chapter 3 of the book describes something of my theological journey and his involvement in that process.
Today I received a letter back from him which was both a surprize and a delight...

That's really neat and encouraging. I wrote to R. C. many years ago and he sent back a really nice reply. He is brilliant and so is J.W.H.

Dr. Sproul I found a lesson of yours on biblegateway via youtube about Literary Forms (Part 1)and (part 2). Thank you so much for your candid no nonsense way of explaining the complexity of understanding the written word correctly. You have caused me to evaluate my learning of the word and go back to school even in my 50s. Thank You for your scholarship that I was so hungry for. I was surprised that you did not speak about the voice of the Lord walking through the garden. I think you just ran out of time. Thank you again I will be listening to you via internet if it is possible and seeking out so way to complete classes on line. Once again thank you!
